Nose: Soft Smoke, Red Fruits with a white chocolate like sweetness in the background, further notes of leather and dusty cedar wood. Neat the whisky smells very crisp and clean.

Palate: Hot upfront, like a warm campfire peat is actually subtle, flavors of fruits come though, a mash of raspberry and strawberry with a dusting of sugar, slight mulled wine flavors (Clove and cinnamon) but only slight, nice sweetness of turbinado sugar and a little light honey.

Finish: Whisps of campfire smoke but its fading, sweetness caries though, fruits flavors are there but fading, finishes on flavors of malt and light caramel.

Kind of reminds me of highland park (which another reviewer also noted), a nice bottle of whisky but for GlenDronach not on the same level as some of the single casks I've had from them.

I’m a Glendronach fan, but this one sounds avoidable. Thanks for a good, honest review.
